The Strict Olympic Games

As we all know the 2008olympic game is coming soon, and the whole world are looking at China, meanwhile the Chinese government are trying their best to ensure the security and stability of the social environment, which is the first and foremost element for a Olympic games

From July, people can see the obvious change of Chinese governmental restrictions, firstly, the embassy of china in foreign countries has set a limit on the visa application and tighten the numbers of people who apply the Chinese visa; second, when you want to travel by air, you have to get to the airport 3 hours ahead of the check-in time, because there are more complicated and inconvenient procedures to insure the safety of the airplane, and the third, at the bar or night club of Beijing, crowded teenagers would be in the memory of the owners, because Beijing has set a limit on people’s time….

Last week, I went to Baoding, a city of Hebei province, which is next to Beijing, abd on my way back, the bus stopped for 3 times, all the passenger has to show their ID card, if you did not bring with you, sorry, just get off the bus and went back where you came from.。

I think the government has ignored people’s feeling; the festival atmosphere has been diluted by the restrictions. But from another way of thinking, this year, there are too many unstable and dangerous elements, the Tibet issue, the torch relay in Paris, and the terrorist attack in Kunming today…
